Bang Mantje is afraid of everything: for people who push in front of the bakery (of which he dares not say anything), for wearing his flower pants (they will laugh at him) and for strange noises in the night (there must be a ghost under his bed).
He makes an appointment with the magic tree that helps frightened men of their fears. The tree does warn him of the ferocious creatures he will encounter in his way - but he needn't be afraid of that, because they are not dangerous.
Thanks to the warning, Scared Male defies dragons, giant spiders and scary witches. Once he arrives at the magic tree, he is immediately promoted from a Scared Male to a Best Well Brave Male.
He goes home satisfied. He puts on his floral pants, goes to the bakery and orders two cakes: one for himself and one for the ghost under his bed.
