Tanabata (star festival) is a Japanese holiday day on July 7th. In the astronomical fairy tale, two lovers, weaver (the star Wega) and shepherd (the star Altair) on either side of the river (the Milky Way) are set by the father as punishment for neglecting weaving and herding after the wedding. Once a year (7th of July), they meet each other because they form a bridge over the river. This happens only on a clear night. When it's raining, the two loved ones have to wait another year.
